It’s important to make the most of the summer season, so we recommend experimenting with some summer-themed drink recipes before the fall time. Floral drinks have been all the rage this year, and we’re here with a unique recipe you need to try!

For the hibiscus syrup (makes ¾ cup):

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup water

2 teaspoons dried hibiscus leaves

For the mimosa (for a single glass):

2 tablespoons hibiscus syrup

4 to 6 ounces rosé champagne

Add your sugar, water, and hibiscus to a saucepan over low-medium heat, and whisk until your sugar dissolves. Let the mixture simmer for 1 minute and turn off your heat and leave the saucepan to the side. Once your mixture is cool, strain through a fine mesh sieve and store in a sealed container in your fridge.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of your hibiscus syrup into your champagne glass and add 4-6 ounces of rosé. You’re all set! And if you have extra syrup afterwards, feel free to store it in the fridge for future cocktails.

While this may seem like an obvious way to spend a summer holiday, you can’t go wrong with a relaxing beach or pool day. Simply grab your favorite bathing suit, a towel, and sunscreen, and you’re ready for a getaway!
